Can I make copies or a fax?
Yes, the library and the front desk can make copies for you, fee is .10 per page. The front desk can make a fax for you, fee is $1.00 per page.
How do I know if you will close due to inclement weather?
We will post on our Facebook and on the radio that we are closed.
Can I use the lobby tables for a meeting?
No, all meetings must be reserved and held in our meeting rooms. Lobby tables are for personal use only.
Do you provide free Wi-Fi?
Yes

How do I become employed at the Community Center?
Stop by the front desk and fill out an application.
Can my school come there for a field trip or lock in?
Yes, we do offer the use of our facility for a field trip or lock in. Call Joann for pricing and available dates
When will the volleyball net be up for use?
If you want to guarantee that the volleyball net is up at a certain time, you must rent the gym.
When will the gymnasium be open for use?
Gymnasium rentals are sporadic; check our Gymnasium Closings calendar in order to see an updated schedule of when the gym is rented for use.
Can I use a locker when I am there?
Yes, daily use of the lockers (and a lock) is free. Talk to the front desk about using a locker for an extended period of time.
I rented a meeting room, how early can I come in to get set up?

Membership/Registration Questions

Can I get a discounted membership due to my low income?
Yes, an application must be filled out and the director will decide what discount will be given.
Can I call over the phone and sign up for my class or program?
In most cases, yes. You still must sign the receipt next time you are in the building and we can only accept registrations if you have a credit card number we can take via the phone.
Does the Walking Club include use of the bikes or ab machine in the corner?
No, just the walking track.
Is there a deadline for signing up for a class?
No, but we recommend signing up at least one week prior to ensure the class does not reach capacity or is cancelled from lack of participants.
Who can be on a Family Membership?
Parents, children under the age of 23 and any other dependents as claimed on your most recent taxes.
How do Debit memberships work?
Debit memberships are treated the same as annual memberships, except that the whole payment for the membership isn't due at once, but instead is taken out each month. To start the membership a voided check is needed as well as a first month's payment. The next calendar month the amount will be debited from your checking account no earlier than the 15th.

Fitness/Swim Questions

If I am just watching my child in the pool, and he Is over the age of ten, do I have to pay to go into the pool?
Yes. If you do not want to pay, there is an alcove near our east entrance that you can sit in and view the pool. If you want to go into the pool area you will have to pay the appropriate fee.
How do I know if my class will be cancelled due to inclement weather?
If the facility is still open but an instructor wishes to cancel class, we will notify you with a phone call.
The class I want to do is on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I just want to come on Thursdays. Can I do that?
Yes. When signing up just tell the Front Desk and they will reduce the price by half.

How old does someone have to be to take a fitness class?
Fourteen
How old does my child have to be to swim by their self?
Any child under the age of 10 must have someone over the age of 14 with them at all times.
I am going to miss two Mondays and one Wednesday in my fitness class, can I get it prorated?
No. While we try to accomadate everyone as best as we can, we do not refund/prorate for days missed here and there. We do allow prorating if you will be missing every Tuesday in a Tuesday/Thursday class.
How tall do you have to be to go on the slide?
Anyone going down the slide must be at least 48" tall. Noone under that height is allowed down the slide due to safety issues.
