Private lessons are tailored to your style and interests. Maybe you want to hone a strength of your game, work on a weakness, or learn a new technique? Or perhaps you’re new to tennis and want to learn the basics. Either way, teaching pro Joshua Parmenter will help you work toward your goals in a low-stress, individualized 50-minute session. Martial Arts is for individuals five years of age and older. Students benefit from a good workout with a focus on mental and physical concentration, respect for self and others plus the added benefit of knowing how to protect themselves. Opportunities are available for competition.

Instructor: Lisa Palmer Historically known as paper filigree, the art of paper quilling dates back many centuries. Using narrow strips of paper these delicate shapes are often mistaken for lace. Join juried artist and accredited quiller Lisa Palmer, owner of Never Bored Creations, for 4 hours of instruction as she shares her passion for twirling little strips of paper. All tools and supplies are included in class fee. Minimum age to participate is 12.
Class #1: Intro to Paper Quilling is a beginning class introducing you to the basic quilling tools, papers, and techniques. Learn how to use the quilling tools and supplies to create 12 basic shapes as you create your take-home quilling reference card.
Class #2: Do you wanna build a snowflake? After learning the 12 basic shapes, learn how to read a quilling pattern as Lisa leads you in creating your first quilled ornament. Just in time for Christmas!

This recreational league consists of one game per week for six weeks with a tournament at the end. A great activity for coworkers!

Sample a “caboodle” of a dozen different types of cookies and sip some hot tea or cider, while enjoying Christmas music and decorations! There will also be a short presentation on everything you need to know for cookie baking success, as well as the historical beginnings of cookie baking, including handouts and recipes! In addition, cookies will be available for purchase by the dozen or half dozen to bring home some of the memories!
“Food and Family: Cooking with Angie Bauman” is a recently published hardback, spiral-bound cookbook that will be available for purchase at this event! In addition to hundreds of homestyle favorites and Southern comfort foods, the book includes over 15 exceptional cookie recipes, many of which will be sampled at our event “Caboodle of Cookies”!
