This introductory class at the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center will teach your little one the fundamental gymnastic skills, in a safe and caring environment. Your child will learn basic skills such as coordination, balance, jumping, strength, and discipline. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to socialize in an active and fun setting. Sessions run monthly.

School’s out for the day & you have nothing to do? Hang out at the Community Center for a day of games, crafts, swimming and much more. The program gives parents a chance to give their children supervised activities throughout their day rather than lounging around. Kids need to bring a sack lunch, bathing suit and a towel, and they’re ready for hours of excitement with our camp counselors. Please register no later than one week prior so we can optimize your child’s experience.

Holiday Camp is all the fun of our Summer Day Camp, but without the heat. Holiday Camp, which takes place during holiday break, is a place for kids (Grades K-8) to enjoy sports, crafts, swimming and more with our camp counselors.
Please sign up no later than one week prior to the start of camp so we can optimize your child’s experience.

Come meet Rob Sulkowski, the Ste. Genevieve County Conservation Agent, and learn about bees! Rob is going to bring an observation hive to let kids watch a frame of bees work. He will discuss how bees make honey and how people can extract the honey to keep. He will also bring the tools people use to extract the honey. The kids will leave this class with a newfound knowledge of bees and how they work!

Ages: 5 - 12
The Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK) program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15 to compete separately against their peers. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 & 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing & place kicking in a fun and engaging forum. Copy of a birth certificate will need to be provided by all winners.
Date: September 13 (Rain out date of September 20)
Time: Registration starts at 3:15 pm on Challenger Field. Competition will start at 4:00 pm.

Private lessons are tailored to your style and interests. Maybe you want to hone a strength of your game, work on a weakness, or learn a new technique? Or perhaps you’re new to tennis and want to learn the basics. Either way, teaching pro Joshua Parmenter will help you work toward your goals in a low-stress, individualized 50-minute session. A traditional archery class designed for kids ages 7-12 taught by Jim Pyles. Jim has years of teaching experience and is owner of JP Enterprises Traditional Archery. This is a great class for kids who might be future bow hunters. Participants will need to have an arm guard & glove (may be purchased on the first day of class).
