Slow Flow

This class‏ blends the Yoga Basics with the flowing aspects of a vinyasa class at much slower pace, building strength as well as a sense of well-being and inner stillness. This practice is therapeutic and inspiring. This class is for beginners and experienced students. Variations are offered to support the new student while challenges are encouraged for the more skilled.

Senior Chair Yoga

If you have inflexibility, knee issues, disabilities,or just can not get on the floor, you can benefit from this class. the chair replaces the mat and becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s health benefits. You will practice varying breathing techniques, balancing, core strengthening, shoulder exercises to keep the shoulder healthy and enjoy a great community.

Yoga 101

We will explore the fundamentals of yoga with techniques and practices to integrate the mind, body and spirit. Touching your toes is not required. There will be some standing movement, seated stretching, and lying down poses in each class. Modifications and props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets are offered and used for a safe practice.

Sunrise Yoga Board

Challenge yourself and strengthen your inner core and balance in this class and use muscles you didn’t know you had to stabilize yourself. The Indo yoga board is designed to simulate Stand Up Paddle Board yoga on water. The board is on rockers for first timers and one can increase the intensity by adding air filled cushions. This class in intermediate level. Some yoga experience is helpful. Challenging and FUN!

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is wonderful and appropriate for all bodies. If you are a beginner or working with limited mobility, or simply prefer a softer approach to your practice gentle yoga is for you. We will be using props to help relax into the pose and support our practice. Most of this class is done on the floor.

Senior Barre

Improve your posture and strengthen and tone your legs with standing exercises done at a ballet barre. Tone up your arms with small, isolated movements while using 1-2 pound hand weights (optional). Barre is gentle on the joints and great for regaining some balance and improving posture. No Dance experience required!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice. Yin yoga works deeply into our body. It targets our deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles.

Weekend Energy Yoga

Lori Schultz, RYT, will guide a vinyasa style yoga flow connecting breath to movement, energizing mind, body and spirit. This is a perfect class for beginners to learn the poses at a slower pace, giving time to explore individual postures and build confidence and familiarity, while more experienced students can refine fundamentals of the poses. All levels welcome! You will leave feeling refreshed and energized, ready to take on your weekend. Come have fun on your mat!
